He is passionate about supporting schools and leaders to create ambitious educational experiences that enable every young person to succeed and brings this to his role as Chair of the Academy Council at Fortis Academy.

Both Nigel’s daughter and son were educated at the Kidsgrove Secondary School. In his role as Chair, he is a strong advocate for equity in education. A great believer that all our young people deserve the best possible safe educational outcomes. He also shares his knowledge and experience as a member of the Kidsgrove Primary School Academy Council.
