The recent Ofsted inspection of Blackfriars Academy (Newcastle-under-Lyme and Bucknall) found the academy to have, ‘maintained the outstanding quality of education.’ The inspection which took place in September highlighted that, ‘pupils’ needs are at the heard of decision making’, which gives, ‘a clear emphasis on striving to meet the individual needs of every pupil.’

We are delighted with the continued excellence which has been supported by a highly effective partnership between the Academy and the Shaw Education Trust.
